Rockwood Retirement Communities is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Counselor to join our sales team. This position is primarily responsible for selling apartments and homes in Independent Living. Remains knowledgeable of our Life Plan Community model and be able to discuss accurately and compassionately with potential residents and family members. Maintains a positive image of the community with referral sources, residents, family members, vendors, and employees. Can accurately represent full continuum of care.
Pay Range: $34- $36 per hour DOE

Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships and build rapport with potential residents and family members.
- Respond and follow-up with all walk-ins, phone-ins, and mail-ins timely and appropriately.
- Close sales to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Initiate, develop, and manage relationships with sales referral sources to increase referrals.
- Generate and sustain quality and quantity of leads.
- Know and stay up to date on the offerings of other retirement communities in the area including but not limited to services as well as charges.
- Attend internal and external marketing events.
- Build excitement for the future community.
- Maintain details records and utilize the Customer Relationship Management database daily.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and staff and maintain a good working relationship with all staff.
- Upholds the RRC Values in all interactions.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field – or equivalent years of experience in sales
- Sales experience within a care retirement community preferred
- One to three years of proven successful sales experience
- Experience utilizing a lead management system/customer relationship management database
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation
