Responsibilities

  • Licensed Nurse who provides safe, competent, quality care.
  • Complete medication pass, resident care, and proper nurse charting/documentation.
  • Nursing assessments are based on interviews, examinations, observations, and reviews of records of our residents.
  • Nursing actions are consistent with the care plan and medical regimen.
  • Coordinates resident care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately health care team members.
  • Oversees the care staff and helps them in making educated care decisions.
  • Enjoy being part of a team, as this position will work closely with a team of nursing assistants and other interdisciplinary team members assuring our residents are receiving the best of care and customer service.

Rockwood Retirement Communities is offering free NAC Training as Rockwood pays the entire course fee. You can also work as a Universal Worker for us providing assistance in our healthcare areas, kitchen, and housekeeping areas. Pay Range: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour if opting to work as a Universal Worker. Pay will move to $18.50 per hour after class is completed and NAR certificate is received, and then will be $21.00 per hour as the NAC certificate is received.

Once you complete your NAC Training class and receive the proper certification, you will be eligible to work as a NAR, obtain a pay increase and enroll on to the Rockwood Retirement Communities pay bonus incentive program. This unique bonus program offered solely by Rockwood is one where the incentive is paid out to you based on your own hours worked.

We are currently looking for Students for our Nursing Assistants Training program. * We will pay for your NAC program*(tuition and supplies), your clinical hours as well as license and testing fees that occur.

We offer great resident to staff staffing ratios to better serve our residents and to allow the staff with the extra time needed to care for the residents.

Once enrolled a student will complete orientation and training. After successful completion of the training program and all the requirements of onboarding with the company you will be eligible to register to take the WA State Certified Nursing Assistant written and skills test.

The actual Nursing Assistant Training Program will include: Theory and Lab Skills 60 hours, Clinical Time 45 hours. Clinicals are supervised by staff RN’s at our facilities.

(Note: You will not be reimbursed for the hours of studying theory. You will not be asked to, nor allowed to perform any clinical skill on patients or residents until first demonstrating the skill satisfactorily to the instructor in the practice setting).
