Job description:

Rockwood Retirement Communities is looking for a highly professional Registered Nurse to fill our South Hill Campus. This position Performs professional and administrative work overseeing and coordinating the federally mandated resident assessment and care plan process for the facility, ensuring federally mandated time frames for data gathering, care plan development and computerized transmission of the data are met.

Job Shift: 

  • Part-time: Evening shift
  • On call

Pay Range: $46 – $51.51 per hour DOE

  • + Shift Differential for Evening and/or Night Shift
  • + Pay in lieu of benefits (for Full-time status, only)
  • + Retention Bonus (for Full-time status, only)

Job Functions:

  • Provides necessary oversight, follows up and communicates all essential information with MDS team and DNS to ensure accurate timely MDS reports.
  • Performs ongoing evaluation and case management from pre-admission authorization through discharge to ensure appropriate financial coverage and reimbursement levels for each resident.
  • Coordinates completion of MDS assessments and CAAS and assists as needed.
  • Transmits completed MDS in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates and monitors the accurate and timely collection of data from professional staff.

Requirements:

  • Current Washington State RN License
  • Current BLS or CPR/AED/First Aid Card
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal development skills
  • MDS Certification, preferred
