Rockwood South Hill is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-time Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting team by performing basic accounting functions, along with other clerical and business office administrative functions
Pay Range: $20-21 per hour
Shift: TBD, 20 hours a week
Responsibilities
- Utilize Excel for data entry, reporting, and tracking financial information with high accuracy
- Perform filing as assigned
- Assist with office administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining filing systems
- Manage office supplies and coordinate inventory
- Handle a wide range of administrative duties, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Support team members with various projects and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Stay focused and organized while working on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to all professional standards, policy and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and staff and maintain a good working relationship with all staff
- Uphold the RRC values in all interactions
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or coursework in accounting or finance is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasking skills
