Rockwood Retirement Communities is looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our Rockwood at Whitworth Campus.
Job Shift: PT Weekdays
Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
- 60% Commission based on Service Sales
- 25% Commission based on Product Sales
- $18 per hr. additional training
- Annual $250 continued training
Job Functions:
- Demonstrate superior knowledge of massage therapy
- Ability to perform Therapeutic and Relaxation massages
- Assist with keeping the salon, massage rooms and waiting areas welcoming and tidy
- Maintain supply of towels/linens
- Occasionally run chair massage specials for other departments and for residents
- Ensure proper sanitation procedures are completed before and after every appointment
- Attend all in-services and mandatory meetings
- Preferred experience with senior population
Requirements:
- Current Washington State issued Massage Practitioner License
- Experience as a professional massage therapist is preferred but not required
- 30, 50- and 80-minute relaxation or therapeutic massages
- Ability to take initiative in exceeding quarterly goals
- Ability to work well with other departments and in team settings
- Comfortable using a POS computer system and experienced using Microsoft Outlook and salon software
