Rockwood at Whitworth is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and caring individual to join our team as a Part-Time Activity Assistant.
Pay Range: $18.50 – $20.50 per hour
Shift Type: Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday (9AM – 5PM)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment in providing quality activities for residents.
- Develop, prepare, conduct and maintain a diversified program of activities to involve all residents in our Memory Care and Assisted Living units
- Assist with on-and off-campus events
- Assist with coordinating and facilitating group activities and events
- Maintain documentation and records related to resident activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; three to six months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in arts and crafts and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to communicate with your team and our residents, keep order and enforce safety rules with large groups
- Willingness to be a part of and work well with a team
