The position is responsible for maintaining a pleasant and functional outdoor space. The ideal candidate will take care of the grounds of our Courtyard Homes and Duplexes on the Rockwood at Whitworth property.
Pay Range: $16.50 – $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the planting areas of the overall common areas of the grounds
- Spring and Fall cleanup of all outside common areas, removal of leaves and underbrush from lawns and planting areas and gutters
- Snow removal and application of ice melt as winter conditions require
- Outdoor exteriors maintenance such as sprinkle repair/adjustments
- Knowledge of plants, shrubs, and vegetation for pruning purposes
- Attend/complete all required training and in-services
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be able to interact comfortably with residents to provide open lines of communication to meet their needs and expectations
- Must be able to work independently and plan daily tasks effectively within the scope of the assigned work plan
- Current and valid Washington Drivers License
- Must have skill and experience with proper pruning tools
- Must be knowledgeable with automatic sprinkler system and repair
- Works well independently and part of a team
