This management position will arrange and supervise activities for residents in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing units. This position will also lead activity assistants in their day-to-day duties. The right candidate will be comfortable working with residents with differing cognitive and physical functioning and providing support to families.
Pay Range: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and implement age-appropriate activities for residents with differing cognitive and physical functioning in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing units
- Hire, supervise, coach, and lead activity assistants in regular duties
- Remain aware of regulations affecting skilled nursing
- Complete activity assessments, care plans, and MDS paperwork
- Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures
- Providing reliable and safe transportation to/from off campus scenic drives and scheduled activities using RRC vehicles
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident information
- Adhere to all professional standards, policy and procedures; federal, state and local requirements
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and staff and maintain a good working relationship with all staff
- Uphold the RRC Values in all interactions
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- 6 months in Senior Housing and Healthcare field
- Supervisor or project management experience
- BA or BS in Recreational Therapy or related degree
- NAC Licensure or willingness to obtain an NAC license
- Activities Director Certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Teepa Snow Coach/Mentor certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Driver’s license with good driving history
- 3 years of driving experience – Must provide a Driver’s Abstract
- Experience driving large wheelchair type van/bus preferred
