The Fitness Instructor is responsible for supporting the Life Enrichment Director and Wellness Coordinator in overseeing the fitness center as well as instructing fitness classes for Rockwood at Whitworth residents and employees.
Pay Range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Shift Type: Teach one or two classes per week, as determined by the department.
Job Functions
- Ability to teach a variety of exercise classes to meet the variable levels of residents and employees

Required Skills and Experience

- General knowledge in Building Maintenance duties

Rockwood Retirement Communities is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a part-time Server at our South Hill campus. This individual will provide great customer service to residents, families, and team members.
Pay Range: $17.50 – $18.10 per hour
Shift Type: 4pm-8pm (schedule varies)
Responsibilities
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure the proper functioning
- Take and process guests’ orders in a timely fashion
- Able to maintain a clean and orderly station
- Memorize menus and modifiers for on-demand recitation
- Up-sell desserts and drinks as appropriate for individual guests and parties
- Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking
- Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products
- Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti, or bagels
Required Skills and Experience
- 1+ year wait staff/serving experience and/or barista experience
- Excellent customer service
- Current Washington State Food Handler permit
- MAST training within 60 days of employment
- Comfort with POS computer system
