The Fitness Instructor is responsible for supporting the Wellness Coordinator in overseeing the fitness center as well as instructing fitness classes for residents and employees. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging classes, educating clients on fitness techniques, and designing personalized workout programs that cater to individual needs and goals.
Shift: Part-time (8-10 hours per week)
Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Ability to teach a variety of exercise classes to meet the variable levels of residents and employees
- Assist in ongoing education opportunities for residents and employees in all aspects of wellness that support the LiveWell program
- Oversee fitness or recreation facilities, ensuring safe and clean facilities and equipment
- Provide individual support or counseling in general wellness and fitness

Rockwood Retirement Communities is looking to hire LPNs for our Whitworth Campus. Join us in our amazing work environment where we focus on providing the highest quality of care to our Assisted Living & Memory Care Residents. We offer a positive, upbeat work environment where all clinical team members work together for the good of our residents.
Pay Range: $35 – $39.19 per hour
- + Shift differential for Evening and/or Night Shift
- + Differential in lieu of benefits
Available Shift: P/T or On-call
Responsibilities
- Licensed Nurse who provides safe, competent, quality care.
- Complete medication pass, resident care, and proper nurse charting/documentation.
- Nursing assessments are based on interviews, examinations, observations, and reviews of records of our residents.
- Nursing actions are consistent with the care plan and medical regimen.
- Coordinates resident care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately health care team members.
- Oversees the care staff and helps them in making educated care decisions.
- Enjoy being part of a team, as this position will work closely with a team of nursing assistants and other interdisciplinary team members assuring our residents are receiving the best of care and customer service.
Required Skills and Experience
- Current Washington State LPN License
