Rockwood South Hill

The Foundation Suite is a specifically designed room in our skilled nursing facility (The Atrium) for residents and their families at a residents’ end-of-life. The double room provides a serene space for family and friends to be present at the residents’ bedside, as well as in the adjoining room.

One side of the room features a bed, television, armoire, and other amenities for the resident while the other side has a couch and chair that pull out into a bed so that family or friends may stay the night near their loved one, if they choose. The TV has a cable attachment and a game console for families that have children that need to be entertained while they are visiting. This suite also provides a completely modernized and handicap accessible bathroom and kitchen area.
