“Thank you for picking me to receive the Rockwood Retirement Foundation’s staff development scholarship. I am very thankful to be awarded this scholarship to help with my education at Eastern Washington University.

It’s been quite a busy fall for me with schooling and running for EWU’s cross-country team. I am currently finishing up my fall cross country season, where I just competed at the Big Sky Conference Championships. At the championship meet we were able to have our best team performance since 2015 and I was able to get a personal record by 12 seconds.

By awarding me this scholarship, I am able to focus more time on my education and athletics while not worrying so much of how I am going to pay for school. I greatly appreciate your generosity in rewarding me this scholarship and helping me reach my higher educational goals. Thank you so much!”
