Located in The Ridge, our 7-story apartment tower offering beautiful views of our campus, assisted living at Rockwood South Hill offers residents a little extra help just when they need it. Our goal is to encourage as much independence as possible while helping with day-to-day activities, such as bathing, dressing, managing medication and more. Assisted living residents have convenient access to the restaurants, entertainment, convenient amenities and services available on our campus.
Can I move directly into assisted living?
Yes! While independent living residents at Rockwood South Hill enjoy priority access to healthcare as part of their Life Plan, we welcome new residents interested in moving directly into assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing, no entry fee required.
Well-appointed, modern apartment homes
Our one- and two-bedroom and studio assisted living apartments, which range from 300 sq. ft. to 900 sq. ft., feature beautiful design and craftmanship with additional considerations incorporated to accommodate the daily needs of assisted living residents.
Open kitchen and living room spaces create a large and welcoming main living area that has plenty of room to entertain family and guests while still feeling cozy and warm. Both apartment floor plans include large master bedrooms, while the two-bedroom apartments offer extra space for guests.

For several decades, we have had the privilege of serving assisted living residents at our South Hill campus. Our team of caregivers is trained to offer help wherever needed while encouraging and celebrating independence always. This supportive environment enables and encourages residents to be active and engaged in all of the fun activities on our campus.
