The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine dining, catering, and food service management. You will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences while managing a team of culinary professionals.
Shift: Monday-Friday (Weekend, as needed/depending on restaurant needs – TBD with Supervisor)
Pay Range: $32.50-36.00
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes
- Hire and train kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation staff, and dishwashers
- Modify/create menus to meet quality standards and take advantage of foods in season and local availability.
- Cook food in quantities according to the menu and number of persons to be served
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Operate kitchen equipment in preparation for meals
- Prepare various foods depending on menu created by dietitians, for each meal of the day
- Works cooperatively and maintains a good working relationship with supervisors and all staff.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Education in Culinary or related fields preferred
- Minimum five years of related experience required
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Effective oral, written, and reading skills
- Current Food Handlers certification

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- English language proficiency
