Location: Rockwood South Hill

Job Description

The Unit Manager is responsible to facilitate the operations of the Health Care Center in the skilled nursing area and providing services in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations.

Job Shift

  • Sun-Thurs (6:00 am to 2:30 pm)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates in the admission and supervision of HCC/AL residents to cover pre-admit and discharge
  • Responsible for ensuring required documentation is completed timely, including nursing assessments, narrative notes, incidents, and billing information
  • Facilitate communication with residents, families, staff, and physicians for coordination of care
  • Coordinates the resident’s assessments, develops Nursing Care Plans, establishes measurable goals, implements Nursing Interventions, and evaluates the efficacy of the process
  • Follow up on concerns with residents/families with the goal of satisfactory resolution of concerns
  • Attend/complete all required training and in-services
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Required Skills and Experience

  • Current/valid Washington State Registered Nurse License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
  • LTC Experience, strong supervisor skills, familiarity with MDS and financial reimbursement
  • Knowledge of QAPI and basic infection control
  • English language proficiency
