A Culture of Giving

Rockwood’s history is founded on the basis of philanthropy. From its inception, the Foundation was designed to provide for residents who may find themselves in need of assistance, in the event resources are depleted, through no fault of their own. The Foundation also funds a variety of amenities for the communities. There is a culture of giving at Rockwood. Residents, friends and families make memorial gifts in the name of friends and loved ones. Legacy gifts are the ultimate way in which residents provide enjoyment, comfort and peace of mind for current and future residents of Rockwood Retirement Communities.

Rockwood Residents’ Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) organization that receives and distributes private gifts to further the mission and ministry of Rockwood.

The Foundation recently helped to fund new health center equipment, a new bus and the residents' exercise program.
