There are many ways in which our organization helps to ensure that residents have everything they need in the way of accommodations and services. One way in which residents' daily lives can be enhanced is through the work of the Rockwood Residents' Foundation. Through our Foundation, opportunities are provided to residents (as well as to friends and families) to assist fellow residents and enhance their communities through contributions and planned giving.

The Rockwood Residents' Foundation has been an effective force for positive change for many years.

Two of the primary, ongoing goals for the Foundation are:

1. to maintain and nurture the growth of the fund for assisting residents who have lived at a Rockwood community for many years, but due to changing times and higher costs, have not been able to keep up financially

2. to provide funds for amenities that will benefit all residents but did not fit in the budget

The Residents' Foundation is a fully charitable, non-profit organization whose Board, comprised of residents and trustees, judiciously oversees the collection and expenditure of contributed funds.

Recent projects funded by the Foundation include a resident computer learning center, and the purchase of art, landscaping and other amenities for the Health Center. For more information, contact Brusan Wells, brusan@rockwoodret.org, or call 509-536-6677.
